So the six week holiday is now underway and although I am going to enjoy not having to get up too early (unless the children do) I am apprehensive about keeping them occupied at the same time keeping my commitments to my businesses...I am sure there are many women having the same issues. I can see lots of late nights whilst I keep all these plates spinning!! Although, having said that, I do remember being at home with my eldest daughter in the years before I started working for myself, or doing any paid work at all, and I recal the term and holiday times all merged into one at that time and I definately prefer being self employed and busy than feeling like the world is going on without me as I did in those days! I also think it is good for my children to have an understanding of what has to happen for me to earn money for us all to enjoy, what our parents actually did at work used to be a mystery, my children have hands on experience of it, and that has got to be of use?...time will tell
